Cross my heart, I’m so lookin’ forward to spring already… You, guys?
Hello Alexandra, me too, so much grey and rain here at the moment, although I can see Blue sky out of the window now. Lovely image, you’ve done it again. :>)
Hello conspicari 🙂 hey, thank you so much, you know how to put a smile on my face 🙂
it’s already pitch dark outside, not even blue sky out of the window now… so fed up with winter, the cold and short days… I want spring, green trees, sun in my hair… sigh…
Me too, except I have very little hair for the sun lol. :>)
sun don’t care ’bout that lol 😀
Winter is long and cold, this year, is not it ? 🙂
it is, dammit… hope it is warmer in Brittany 🙂
Yes it is, but I’m waiting for sunny and warner days as well… 😉
I’m still looking forward to winter – we haven’t had a decent enough dose yet but I love your shot and hope you get what you wish for soon!
lol, you’ve had your share last year with the Jonas blizzard 😛 but I also hope you get what you wish for, Patti, so we can see some awesome snow shots from NYC!! ♥
Oh yes, can’t wait!!!!!!! (Lovely shot, too!)
honestly, I want to be at some place like the one on your avatar, always gives me such a summary feeling when I see it 🙂 thank you so much, have a lovely (and warm) week 🙂
Thanks, you too! I can already say that my week won’t be warm, unfortunately, but hopefully lovely nonetheless! And hope yours is too! (I wish I was still sitting under that palm tree, too!)
the way your write and tell stories with photos and text, I’m sure that if you post about your cold week it will be just as beautiful and as heart-warming 🙂
Aww, you’re too sweet! I appreciate it, coming from you: your blog is so beautiful! 😊
thank you, the feeling is mutual :>)))
Yes, god yes!!!!! Is this from the file of old photos or did you find an oasis of green someplace? Either way, it is beautiful and makes me long for spring.
I think this blog is not used to such enthusiastic comments, cuz I found your comment last night in the Spam folder… it’s good I’ve made it a habit to look there also, cuz it’s so lovely to read it 🙂 no oasis, alas, cold and bland outside… it’s from last spring… so looking forward to warmer weather!! have a great week ahead, Chris 🙂
Me spam?!?! What was you computer thinking. It’s the same here. I’m ready for spring. Have a great week.
I think it got confused by yes, god, yes… lol… such pure, genuine emotion there… the computer couldn’t classify you lol….
Beautiful shot, Alexandra.
thank you so much :>)) I know you love raindrops, hope you post some again soon too 🙂
so done with winter!
my point exactly lol… 🙂 thank you so much for stopping by :>))
Oh yes, give me spring, winter has been hard on me so far… Nice picture Alexandra. Very peaceful.
I so wish to tell you spring is just around the corner but we need to brace up a little bit longer… my batteries also go down in winter, you are not alone! smiles for the new week, Philippe 🙂
I love the four distinct Seasons. It makes me look forward to everyone of them 😊
Knut, I just love your comment, so true, thus we will appreciate spring even more… thank you so much for stopping by!!
Deliciously-shallow DOF once again, and a super-pleasing pic., green tones and blur and all!
Thank you for your comments on my photos on Flickr! 🙂
so good to find all your comments this Monday a.m., Kishore, thank you so much 🙂
you know, I’ve closed down my Flickr account, but I will always keep checkin on you and your photos ♥
Beautifully done. Like tiny, dainty crystals on the leaf 🙂 I hope spring comes soon for you. Here in Australia, I hope we have more summer, lol. Just can’t get enough of it and I am loving wearing my shorts 🙂
thank you, Mabel 🙂 yes, like tiny, dainty crystals… sun after rain always produces this magic 🙂
February promises to be a little bit warmer, let’s hope so…
and I hope you get a long summer there…
ready for a nice weekend? xoxo
I am SO happy the weekend is here. Oh look, it is already midnight. Saturday already. Slipping away already :”) I hope the weekend treats you well and your boys are nice to you ❤
have a fantastic new week, sweetness ♥
I love the water droplets in soft focus. Such a pretty shot.
so beautiful, right? 🙂 the minute the sun breaks throught the clouds after a heavy rain and it does its magic 🙂 thank you very much!!
Lovely photo, I really love the colour, green sprouting from and within shades and obscurity. You make spring sound better than it actually is!
anything is better than this long cold winter that we’ve been having here this year… is it the same in Belgrade, Mirjana?
Unfortunately, not enough winter for me. Past 2 years, Winters were weak, almost non existent. We missed the snow, the colder air, the warming up rituals, hot cocoa!
O-O wow wow !! Really nice picture Alex, love it !!
And, as for me, I prefer yet not to think of the spring because it is far, very far from arriving here in Quebec!! 😡 😉
thank you so much, Céline, am so happy you like the shot, as you take such beautiful pictures of nature ♥
ah, I know about your long winters in Quebec again from your wonderful pictures… stay warm!! 🙂
I don’t care if it’s cold or hot because, for some time now, I promised myself to enjoy the very moment without taking in consideration the ups and downs of life.
I have truly found that this change of attitude has made me to live a more intense and peaceful life.
Carpe die, carpe horam (Seize the day, seize the hours)
this is such a great philosophy, Mercelo!! I wish I can adopt it too… too bad I have hard time finding peace within me at this point of my life…
thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, you always make a great and unique point!!
Yes, as in the heart of winter slumbers spring, it slumbers in my heart too. Thanks and greetings!
beautifully said 🙂 thank you for stopping by!!
I so love seeing green! Will be awhile before we see any signs of spring, a snowstorm is forecast for us tomorrow.
same here, sigh… I love snow and winter but after a while I really now am looking forward to green, fresh spring 🙂 stay warm!! 🙂
thank you very much :>)
Me too, I really long for it..
Beautiful use of shallow DOF, rewarded with sweet blur in which the water-drops form gorgeous little highlights!
thank you, Kishore 🙂 I was lucky the sun came out right after the rain to make the raindrops look so gorgeous… happy you like the shot!!
