so beautiful textures and moments from streets !
thank you so much, Victor!! we do have textures around here🙂
I see ;-))
Bulgarians seen through your eyes are interesting ! I like your street photos.🙂
well, it’s not exactly what you see in the tourist brochures, but I am happy the shots and Bulgaria are interesting for you🙂
Great, I love a bit of grit, on the street…
I kinda knew you might like the shots🙂 thank you, Andy!!
Beautiful gritty photos, Alex. I don’t feel disgusted but actually drawn to them. They are a part of our every day life and we should embrace it all. Such a spontaneous eye you have🙂
bull’s eye, as always, Mabel🙂 I am too drawn to such gritty scenes, cuz they are real and capture the actual pace of everyday life in the town… frankly I find them quite charming… thank you so much for your comment!!
Yay for the heart!🙂
I keep seeing them hearts you know🙂 thank you so much, Gaya!!
Brilliant title and great shots. It is actually very gritty judging from your photos.🙂
it is gretty… and I’m so used to it, I kinda like it🙂 thanks, Viking!!
Daily life can be so gritty, yet still interesting to the outside observer. Actually some of these scenes could be from any city.
you are so right, daily life, chores and struggles can be seen anywhere🙂 thanks much, Lignum!!
Your street photos are gorgeous love all of them
thank you so much, Bernie!!🙂
Love the guy in red in the white delivery van in perfect parallel with the red hand truck on the curb. And yes, Седмочисленици has its gritty side, but it’s a great gathering place and we spent countless hours there when we lived in Sofia.
it is always so interesting to read your comments, Risa🙂 you’ve guessed the location perfectly, all shots were taken around Shisman St and the University… so I guess the area around Седмичисленици hasn’t changed much from the time you lived here🙂 thanks much for stopping by…
Excellent bits and pieces that show the reality of life.
thank you so much, rabirius!!
Still photos bubbling with life
thank you so much for the lovely comment🙂
It’s the grit that make the pearls, and great shots as ever Alexandra!
thank you, Patti🙂 your comments are always so perceptive and full of insignt… just like your photography🙂
Very charming series!
love the rustic street shots! The bicycle one is my favourite!
The color on the kolelo hints at the artist who decorated the wall. Nice observation on your part. Your artistry shines in all these photos.
