Gimme a smile! #unnoticed
you’re in a hurry 🙂 love it
ah, well, people in the streets are always in a hurry and quite often do forget to smile…
thanks much, Bernie, and thanks for sharing the shot… 🙂
Awww. The person who did the art probably wanted to make others happy. Great catch and shot. The art must have made you smile 🙂
lol, I keep wondering why there are three smiling faces there.. and not four or two, for example… maybe the artists were three lol 🙂 yes, it surely amused me a lot… it’s been a grey rainy day here today, that was something positive to see in the streets…thank you, Mabel 🙂
🙂 :)) ;D I’ll give you too Alex ! Have a sweet and nice week-end !
have a great weekend too, Céline 🙂
Is a demanded smile . . . actually a smile?
Lol, when I want to take a smiling photo of the boys I usually start making funny faces, talk funny, try to make them feel comfy, I smile a lot, and laugh, and sing lol.. and when I say “gimme a smile” I get the happiest smile in return… you don’t demand a smile.. you work for it 🙂 you smile at the other person and hope he will respond and give you a smile in return… it’s I-smile-you-smile chain reaction lol…
nice motion blur!
I usually don’t get good results when I want to have one part of the shot well-focused and the other part blurry… but this one turned out decent I think… 🙂 thank you, Graham!!
Have a nice evening Alex. I’ve been out and about with my son today. It’s been a sunny and beautiful autumn day.
so happy to read this, this sounds like the perfect day for you two 🙂
It was great. I invited us for dinner at my cousins place, called him up and said: “Hey. We’re coming over for dinner.” 😀 Today we went to the gym and the playground.
it’s good you are spending time with the little man 🙂 he will love you for that 🙂
Hopefully he will.
Saturday smiles, Alex! 🙂 😀
and here are some Sunday smiles back at you, Lois 🙂
I like your BG smiles, Alex. I hope they inspire more people to smile, those these folks seem to be rushing by. Cheers!
people do need to be reminded to be more cheerful sometimes 🙂 hope you had a great weekend, Chris!!
It’s good to be reminded to smile sometimes. Thanks for the reminder, and have a great weekend, Alex. 🙂 🙂 🙂
exactly!! thank you soooo much, Lignum 🙂 I myself need a reminder to smile more often too 🙂
Love the blurring effect here, and of course I also love gritty street shots!
you know what, Andy, I was thinking lately that I need to go out and take some nice photos around Sofia, of some of the beautiful buildings we have here… and in the end of the day I’m again attracted to what is gritty lol 🙂 thank you so much for this comment!!
There is as much beauty, if not more, in grit than in all the more traditional sources..
absolutely… so true!! there you get an image of real life… thank you soooo much, Andy!!
Thank you Alex!
delightful blog, I’m following
thank you so much 🙂
Ils ne peuvent sourire.
Ils vont trop vite….(Hi,hi,hi !)
you are right, Thierry, we need to slow down the hectic pace sometimes and enjoy a peaceful moment or share a smile… Bises 🙂
thank you so much, Herbert!!
great with that motion 🙂
yeah, you know what, I first took a couple of shots the traditioal way, motion frozen… then just before leaving the scene to catch my tram, I decided to try motion-blur the people… and it is really much more interestin this way… thank you!!
