Reward is… planting love in your kids’ hearts and watch it grow…
*The Weekly Photo Challenge is set by the Daily Post on WordPress.
I think that you’ve succeeded with this week challenge,
thank you, Bernie 🙂 have a wonderful week ahead of you 🙂
glad you like the set, rabirius 🙂 thank you!!
I hope they will be looking at these pictures one day, just like you are looking at the pictures from your father 🙂
thank you, Herbert!!
Thats so kind, Alexandra!
Brilliant shots, Alexandra. You make gardening look so peaceful. Doesn’t look that messy at all and your boys seem to be enjoying themselves. Looks like they have green fingers because at the end, the plants are all standing upright 😀 Very well captured, it’s as if they don’t know you are there taking photos 🙂
thank you so much, Mabel 🙂 actually, it was really messy lol 🙂 but I let them do what they want so they can enjoy the process… 🙂 let’s see if these plants survive our cares now lol 🙂
so sweet, Alex! ❤
thank you, Suze 🙂 kids are sweet caring creatures 🙂
Oh, the rewards–brotherly love, cooperation, nature, beauty… You have so nailed this one. Wonderful post, Alexandra!
thank you so much for your wonderful comment, Lois!! this is exactly what I wanted to convey with this post… 🙂
Gorgeous images, Alexandra 🙂
This year, we stared growing vegetables after a long break and it’s a great feel to collect the fruits of our effort from the garden…
I could perfectly relate to these images.
The best reward here is the sight of these beautiful plants and the other reward is the images itself 🙂
oh, this is so wonderful, Sreejith 🙂 what veggies are you growing? I think it would make a wonderful post on your blog 🙂
we are beginner gardeners lol, but the boys seem very excited about growing plants, hopefully we’ll be abe to take good care of these, as past experience has shown otherwise :X
We have started with , Tomato, Beans, Brinjal, Lady’s finger, cucumber etc;
Here, my daughter likes playing among all these plants and I enjoy taking photos…
It’s something really fills our mind with joy, right?
I could see it in the eyes of your kids 🙂
Have a beautiful day…
beautiful! 🙂 loved the concept!
thank you 🙂 really appreciated!!
I like your definition of reward. 🙂
Have a nice weekend !
love is the definition to everything 🙂
have a wonderful week, Phil!!
Your boys look so intent on their task in the middle shot in BW. Great set.
thank you so much, Chris 🙂 we are doing some changes around the house and the plants were totally boys’ idea 🙂 they really were very interested in the whole planting process and enjoyed it very much 🙂
Fantastic series (focus, composition, etc.), and symbolizing of “planting love” by showing actual planting activity! My favorite is the expression of concentration on the older boy’s face as he’s filling the pot with soil, picking up the delicate plant/roots, etc.
thank you, dear Kishore 🙂 it’s so rewarding to read your comment 🙂
Great shots. But who does the cleaning up?
They obviously make you very proud, Alex. How do you say “Happy” in Bulgarian?
lol, I cleaned the mess afterwards… they did their best to scatter soil all over the place 🙂 but it was ok, as they really enjoyed and loved the whole process… and it has taught them love and care… I hope 🙂
awww, this vid is shot in Sofia, so cool you found it 🙂 in Bulgarian you would pronounce “happy” in this way: [stastliv]… try it 🙂 your comments always make me happy…
Ех, че хубаво… Само мога да ти подаря една голяма усмивка Алекс, защото ти първо ми я даде. 😉
усмивки приемам винаги 🙂 благодаря, Гери!!
Beautiful photos and activity! I love the idea of planting and gardening since younger age – I am horrible at gradening though but I do love having plants surrounding me.
Ici aussi en Normandie, nous avons jardiné, tellement le printemps était déjà là.
Hi Alexandra, you’re up on ‘strata of the self’:
But I’m missing you and your posts.
thank you sooo much for sharing the image, Ashley… I was a bit lost in my (favorite) darkness… hope to come back slowly to the things I love…
I’m glad you’re feeling better. I’ve been and still am very quiet, myself. Posting but I haven’t answered any comments for a while. Cycles, eh?
cycles! I wonder why the phrasing goes “ups and downs” and not “downs and ups”…
I hope you are doing fine, Ashley!! hugs…
Great photos and such a beautiful reward. I’ll make sure to plant the same in my kid.
thank you so much Cardinal 🙂 I’m so happy you could relate… 🙂
What a lovely series of photos Alexandra, and I love your definition for reward. 🙂
thank you kindly 🙂
