*Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge
great shoot !
thanks, Bernie 🙂
Signs are everywhere. But look at those buildings in the background. Is that rust?
yes, this is rust… welcome to my neighbourhood… 🙂 not all blocks of flats look like this, new buildings are different… but there are a lot like these in some residential areas…
Hmm… Which way? I guess this is the perfect place to stop and think about it.
you are right, Cardinal, it’s always wiser to take a minute and think about which way to go 🙂
I adore the perspective of the sign you captured. Wonderful.
thank you kindly for your comment, Cee… 🙂
The flats don’t look great but I expect the view from a high balcony might be nice
I used to live in one such high-rising building before… though ugly on the outside, the view from my balcony was indeed incredible, I could see the entire town in just one look, and the sunrise, and the sunset too… now I live on the 4th floor of a better looking building and all I can see are just the blocks of flats across the street, just more boxes, I guess… no perfect happiness 🙂
This is a great shot. As Andrew said, the flats aren’t that spectacular looking…but somehow they work well with the photo. It’s as if they are on a road of their own – pointing upwards and reaching for the sky 🙂 I love how you framed the shot. The signs and the building don’t dominate the photo but compliment each other, in different directions if you get what I mean 🙂
“reaching for the sky” … yes, I love that patch of sky and even with this urban concrete in the frame it’s still beautiful 🙂 thank you kindly for taking a look, Mabel 🙂
What an interesting capture with the older buildings in the background. The angle you have chosen really is excellent.
thank you very much, Sue 🙂 these are not exactly colorful chic, like those in San Francisco (loved your capture!!)… so interesting to see architecture from different parts of the world 🙂
It is a wonderful thing about meeting people from around the world. Fascinating to be able to travel even just at the computer. 🙂
agreed 🙂 and viewing images sometimes is the first step to actually getting to travel for real… because there are so many inspirational images that people publish in their blogs… thanks once again, Sue!!
Smart angle Alexandra! Like the tones of the photo too 😉
thanks much, Indah 🙂
Hello Alexandra, you’re up on ‘strata of the self’ again, already. 🙂
thank you so much, Ashley 🙂 🙂 am glad you find the shots worthy for sharing 🙂
Your shots are really beautiful. And I love this one with the sky and the contrasting colors of the signs.
thank you for your lovely comment 🙂 I love the sky here too, only a small patch in the urban jungle, but it makes such a change…
Great depiction of “Which Way?”, and from a great perspective!
Is that architecture from the Communist era?
yes, absolutely… architecture from the Communist era, concrete block panel houses… boxes…
