Feeling like a scratched vinyl these days, stuck, can’t move on…
♫ Depeche Mode “In your room”
Is _this_ how a boudoir shot of a stuck record looks? 🙂 Brilliantly done – great concept, fantastic use of shadow… and showing that small bit of face is a great touch.
lol… yeah… um… this is exactly how a scratched vinyl looks like when stuck on “I gotta move on, I gotta move on…” and never moving on…
thank you, Kishore, am glad you like the shot, though it’s far from boudouir… 🙂
I like the shadows too, especilly the one coming from the thumb…
I was on the fence about the face, thought maybe I should crop it out… but now I am definitely leaving it 🙂
love your comments!!!
Yes, the thumb shadow is _the_ shadow! If you gotta move on, shouldn’t the limb in the pic. be a leg rather an arm? 🙂
but of course… it’s the wrong limb… no wonder I don’t see the solution… LOL LOL 🙂 thank you, Kishore, for the smile you just put on my face…
sweet and soft .. a pure “bonheur”
thank you so much, Bernie 🙂 “bonheur” means “happiness”?
“Hello darkness my old friend…”
I have those moods too.
you deserve a big hug now…….. 🙂
what do you do to fight those moods? does travelling help?
Here’s a hug right back at you 🙂 Although I didn’t mean I have those moods now, but sometimes I do. My travels tend to be pre-planned months before, so they don’t really help! 😀 I’ve learned over time to “just keep swimming” — just hang in there and know it’ll pass. A child’s hug is especially therapeutic too! 🙂
I am a lousy planner… I planned and booked a trip for this weekend only yesterday… lol 🙂
nope, still no Venice, but am nevertheless excited about it… it will surely help me keep swimming 🙂
and I get tonnes of childs hugs, you are right, about that, thank you ♥
A very delicate and slightly sensual shot. I love it…
am very happy to read your comment on this one… thank you so much!!!
Such a pretty photo with such tenderness to it. That is a difficult feeling, going around, and around, and around. Just remember, “stuck” doesn’t mean forever. Take care, my friend.
you always seem to find the right words, Chris…thank you!!
glad you like the photo…
You’ve got to get yourself together
You’ve got stuck in a moment
And now you can’t get out of it
Beautiful shot, Alex. I always wonder how how get these so right. The soft lighting is perfect.
good morning 🙂
it’s a lovely song, Lignum.. thank you!! we dragons go through a lot but we always manage to get ourselves together in the end, right? 🙂
am happy you like the shot, though the crop is definitely too tight… I kinda liked it yesterday, but I hate it today lol… anyways…
hope you have a great day ahead of you… 🙂
Yes, we pull through eventually. That’s a lot of smiles to greet me this morning. Thank you. And wishing you a wonderful day ahead too. 🙂 🙂 🙂
and I can see that’s a lot of smiles for me too this morning 🙂 thank you!!! this makes for a happy start of my day 🙂
Beautiful photo! Love the idea and the lighting..all in one makes it a romantic photo 😉
thank you very much, Indah!! 🙂
I know that feeling very well…It’s how all sensitive souls feel at one time or another. Lovely, lovely image!
Beautiful and sensual…
thank you so much, Randall!!
So sensual… Love what I see Alexandra.
thank you so much, Meho 🙂 ♥
thank you, Andy!!…
Tender and fragile, yet strong and captivating beauty…with its own “character” – like all of your photos are, Alexandra! Somehow “Touch me if you can…” came to my mind 🙂
thank you, dear Ese… I think I hate this photo now for the memories and emotions that inspired it… but maybe it helped me let them out… because I haven’t had any crappy moods since 🙂 so now it’s definitely “touch me if you can”… 😀
Simple and fantastic shot.
thank you for taking a look around!! glad you like the shot 🙂
I like both the shot and your blog!
thank you and welcome, Cardinal 🙂 happy 🙂
De beaux détails et de belles émotions présentés sur cette photographie… sur ton blog. Très beau travail.
